Adobe GoLive is a WYSIWYG HTML editor and web site management application. Adobe GoLive was an application provided by the company Adobe in replacement of Adobe PageMill. GoLive was used as an HTML editor and to manage website applications which was released in 9 versions. However, it got discontinued after the release of Dreamweaver. Adobe acquired Dreamweaver from Macromedia in 2005. Adobe GoLive was recognized for its accessibility. It was preferred by developers for its ease in building complex websites. It provided a code-free work space and it was largely visual in nature. It came with a Source Code Editor and Syntax Checker. GoLive was available for use on both Windows and Mac.
