GitHub Pages is a hosting service that relies on the GitHub repository to provide convenience to its user base. It provides ease and simplification in the process of website publication. The sites will be publicly available. It uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript files in its publication process. It provides two options i.e., hosting on the github.io domain or hosting on a custom domain. It is available for three kinds of websites, namely, project, user and organization. It requires users to create a repository in order to publish a site. GitHub Pages allows users and organizations to create only one website per GitHub account.
