Amazon Cognito is an Amazon Service that allows the Cognito user to add sign-up, authentication and authorization to their platform. It allows the Cognito user to manage their users and offers increased scalability as well. It also allows users to sign in through social identity providers and enterprise identity providers. Amazon Cognito provides an identity provider called the Amazon Cognito User Pools that meets the various identity and access management standards. Amazon Cognito also gives its users access control for AWS resources and its UI allows them to easily integrate Amazon Cognito with applications. Its UI also allows the Cognito user to make customizations to the user sign-up and sign-in.
