Amazon ELB (Elastic Load Balancing) is a service which is a part of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Amazon ELB allows for the proper distribution of networks and aims at improving the performance and scalability of applications. Its traffic distribution is done by way of Availability Zones (AZs). Amazon ELB allows its users to modernize applications with simple configurations while retaining the network appliances of their preferred choice. It is recognized by users for its high availability and throughput. Amazon ELB also performs health check improvements and monitoring for the proper functioning of the applications. It provides operational monitoring, logging and deletion protection.
